The Yamaha Crosswave shatters conventions, fusing the thrill of a WaveRunner with the practicality of a flats boat. Designed for epic adventures, serious fishing, relaxed cruising, and family outings, it features a fully flat, 360-degree walkaround deck with rock-solid stability for up to four passengers. Easily reconfigurable for solo missions, this hybrid powerhouse elevates the personal watercraft category to unprecedented versatility

From Bold Concept to Market Disruptor

Born in our Sarasota studio as a daring “what if?” exploration with Yamaha’s elite team: What if a flats boat’s stability merged seamlessly with WaveRunner DNA? We transformed this vision through vivid concept renders, full-scale foam prototypes, and rigorous iterations. Yamaha saw the potential instantly—this wasn’t just an idea; it demanded a real-world launch, marking a game-changing addition to their lineup.

Tested with the ROBRADY team

True innovation proves itself on the water. Yamaha conducted intensive full-scale trials with the Yamaha and ROBRADY team, refining ergonomics, balance, and usability under real-world conditions. These sessions ensured the CrossWave delivers Yamaha’s hallmark safety, high performance, and pure “fun-factor” enjoyment, ready for any adventure.

Built for Ultimate Adaptability

Every element prioritizes function and flexibility. The expansive flat deck enables unrestricted movement, while modular, removable seats convert from a social four-seater to a gear-hauling solo setup. Smart storage solutions —hard compartments and soft bags—integrate flawlessly, including custom-angled coolers that optimize space fore and aft. A universal T-slot rail system accommodates Yamaha accessories plus third-party marine and kayak gear. The spacious console supports multiple displays, accented by a rugged lattice frame that bolsters structure and exudes adventure-ready style.

Echoing a Legacy of Innovation

This collaboration builds on our storied partnership with Yamaha. Back in the late 1990s, we co-created the iconic “Watercraft of the Year” recipient, the Yamaha SUV WaveRunner—a versatile legend with a devoted following to this day. The CrossWave evolves that heritage, amplifying features, range, and possibilities into a modern masterpiece.

Yamaha’s Ultimate Flagship WaveRunner

More than a model, the CrossWave is Yamaha’s largest, most loaded WaveRunner yet—representing unmatched adaptability, stability, and adventure potential. It revives the SUV’s pioneering ethos while setting a bold new standard. We are proud to have partnered with Yamaha once again to bring this “what if” milestone to life. After nearly 30 years in total collaboration across various market categories, the CrossWave stands as continued proof of what’s possible when Yamaha’s bold vision meets ROBRADY designs.
