ROBRADY’s Industrial Designers Teach at GWIZ Fab Lab
ROBRADY design industrial designers Erik Holmen and Chris Stefko are now teaching weekly sketching classes at the GWIZ Faulhaber Fab Lab on Wednesdays. According to Chris Stefko, the class goal is to “supply the students with the fundamental principles needed to be able to communicate their ideas with others in a 2D format. All of the subject matter will be based on products which will have organic and mechanical aspects involved”. The students will go through rapid visualization techniques on portraying form, function, and problem solving through sketching and rendering. The purpose is to encourage students to think critically and creatively about their projects. Stefko wants students to “explore the implications and possibilities about their creations while helping them come to more robust solutions to the problems they are solving”. You can attend these classes or one of the many other classes offered at the Fab Lab by becoming a member - contact Eric McGrath at GWIZ for more information.
