ROBRADY’s packaging concepts hooked retailers and the competition who decided XTOOLS was better bought than battled. 

Challenge: 

Our client was a small fish in their market. They needed a design for an innovative, eco-friendly line of floating fishing tools as well as brand recognition delivered on a tight deadline and even tighter budget.

Solution: 

Building on the revolutionary floating feature of XTOOLS’ products, we created an eye-catching and elegant design for the tools, complemented by a palette of brilliant blue, green and orange. The water-inspired color scheme adorned boxes, clamshells, blisterpaks and instructions, and ensured the tools were highly visible both in the water and on the shelves. What’s more, this branding system unified XTOOLS’ broad tool line.

But our work went beyond the drawing board to production and implementation. Offshore production kept costs low while our oversight on press checks and delivery ensured the quality and integrity of the brand identity. When XTOOLS launched at a major industry trade show, end caps, pop-ups and prototype packaging attracted retailers, consumers and competition alike. Brand recognition was so strong that it played a significant role in advertising.

Results: 

When launched, the client’s brand made a splash with consumers and retailers, even luring in the competition: a legendary fishing industry company acquired XTOOLS.
