ROBRADY’s wide-ranging capabilities and experience transformed a revolutionary technology into a product ready to electrify the market.
An innovative startup company, little more than a concept themselves, had a technology that could revolutionize transportation. But bringing their electric scooter from concept to production and delivering it to market posed an intricate array of challenges that included helping the startup get off the ground, raise capital and begin production.
Though the trials facing Vectrix were complex and constantly changing, ROBRADY’s collaborative and savvy studio moved nimbly, addressing client needs at every stage.
Early on, we provided compelling concept imagery that captured the imagination of the investment community, the press and the public at large. The collateral began building buzz as well as seed capital that allowed the company to move forward.
In the next stages, we produced multiple prototypes, temporarily dedicating the entire studio to the effort. These highly detailed models were critical for raising more funding, conducting tests and moving the product closer to reality while saving precious capital, time and resources. We also provided support around the world for the fabrication and assembly of these models.
Thanks to ROBRADY’s multi-disciplinary approach, we were more than just a design house or engineering firm. We were a one-stop shop that could meet the needs of Vectrix no matter what the needs were.
Our illustrations caught the eye of the press. The models captured the imagination of the investors and helped Vectrix raise nearly $200 million and eventually get the factory operational and producing road-ready electric scooters. Our research, design and engineering teams collaborated to create a stunning, award-winning vehicle that complemented the innovative, green technology inside while meeting the stringent and diverse transportation standards of countries all over the world.
